This meaty style lentil sausage is robustly flavoured with our own aromatic garam masala spice blend and a tiny pinch of chilli. It is a rustic, hearty sausage with no onion or garlic. Who doesn’t love that familiar warm nourishing smell of a curried sausage served up on a steamy plate of creamy mashed potato.
Cooking instructions: Best cooked gently in non stick fry pan on medium heat with oil until piping hot all the way through. Brown well before turning. Can be gently barbecued. Can be cooked from frozen.
These sausages are not suitable for boiling or being immersed in water - they will disintegrate.
INGREDIENTS:
This product is handmade in Australia from local and imported ingredients: Non GM soy protein (50%), brown lentils (12%), water, rice, non GM canola oil, miso paste (water, soybean, rice, salt), nutritional yeast, psyllium husks, potato starch, bamboo fibre, yeast extract, chilli, oregano, marjoram, pepper, sesame seeds, caraway, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, rice flour, (garam masala spice 2%), salt. Sausage skins - edible: Plant based natural polysaccharides.
